This session featured three industry recruitment experts from vastly different backgrounds to talk about the do’s and don’ts when looking for a job in the games industry. Throughout the panel, our host Raven asked the panellists to tackle topics the community requested, including but not limited to: the key traits & experiences of good candidates, good CV practices, and some common mistakes and pitfalls to avoid.

Maja Żmijewska: Lead Operations Manager at 8Bit Recruitment Agency.
Sophie Vo: Creative lead with over twelve years of experience in the mobile gaming industry, currently leading a small creative studio with Voodoo in Berlin. Additionally, founder of Rise and Play: a platform on leadership practices advocating for a human-centric approach to game development and teams.
Lexi Wood: Talent Acquisition Partner, currently with The Pokemon Company International. Before that, she lived and worked in Japan as an international recruiter and career adviser.

Our host: Raven Hoegalmen, a technical media MSc. graduate from Aalborg University and an aspiring game producer.
